Establish the Government Employee of the Month Program

Section 1 - Short Title:

(1) This bill may be cited as the “Government Employee of the Month Act of 2025“


Section 2 - Program Establishment:

(1) A Government Employee of the Month Program is hereby established to recognize exceptional public service among government employees.
(2) Each month, one government employee shall be named and recognized "Government Employee of the Month" with two to three employees named and recognized as "Special Consideration"
(3) Eligibility will be extended to all individuals who work for the government.
(4) The purpose of the program is to promote excellence, morale, and appreciation within the Government of Andorn.


Section 3 - Nomination and Selection:

(1) The nomination board will be chaired by the President, and composed of the following individuals: The President, the Vice-President, the Speaker of the House, the President Pro Tempore, and the Chief Justice.
(2) The panel shall evaluate candidates based on work ethic, innovation, dedication, and positive impact on their department or the public.
(3) Each individual on the panel may propose up to two individuals for consideration, from this pool of candidates the body will first select a “Government Employee of the Month” and then any “Special Consideration's", all being decided by majority rules.


Section 3 - Recognition and Awards:

(1) The selected "Government Employee of the Month" and “Special Consideration's" shall receive:
 (i) A formal announcement in the government announcement channels, at the end of each month.
(ii) A one time payment not to exceed $500, at the discretion of the Executive.


Section 4 - Oversight and Continuation:

(1) The Executive Office shall oversee the ongoing implementation of the program.
