General Rules
1.1 - Toxicity
Anyone who engages in the following with malicious intent such as but not limited too: personal attacks towards the real person, racism, bigotry, sexual harassment, being a troll and Anti-Semitism.
1st Offense: Verbal Warning
2nd Offense: Temp Ban Determined by Staff
3rd Offense: Perm Ban
1.2 - Inappropriate Adult or Vulgar Content
No player is allowed to create, message, possess, or produce content, builds, media, imagery, usernames, etc with adult themes or inappropriate and vulgar language on the server or on the forums.

3nd Offense: 7 Day Temp Ban
4th Offense: Permanent Ban
1.3 - Doxing
Publishing private or identifying information about a player.

1.4 - Bug Abuse
Abusing Minecraft or plugin bugs for personal benefit or to gain access to areas a typical person would not.

1.5 - Perm Abuse
Players and staff are strictly prohibited from abusing granted permissions for personal gain, unfair advantage, or to disrupt gameplay or the server environment.

Client Modification
Client modifications that give unfair advantages and abilities are prohibited.
Players are allowed to use mods like Optifine and Badlion.

Chat Rules
3.1 - Threats
Any statement against the real person and not the account. These statements can include but are not limited to: a threat to commit a crime of violence, a threat to cause bodily injury to another person that the real person knows, terrorization as the result of the threat, and/or an act of coercion using the threat of revealing or publicizing either substantially true or false information about the real person or real people unless certain demands are met.

3.2 - Verbal Harassment
Aggressive verbal pressure or intimidation. This Includes Sexism
1st Offense: 24 Hr Mute

4th Offense: Staff Review if the Toxicity rule is being broken otherwise a 24 hour mute.
3.3 - Excessive Profanity
Where profanity is; offensive; directed at another player, person, or group of people; and or excessively used.

5th Offense: 3 Day Temp Ban
3.4 - Begging/Spamming
Harassing staff for special permissions (e.g. teleport) or using excessive and unreasonable CAPITAL LETTERS.

3.5 - Foreign Languages in Global Chat
Using language other than English.

3.6 - Controversial Topics
You can not start discussions about controversial topics, such as real world religion or politics. IRL Politics is only to be discussed in the IRL Politics Channel

Advertising servers unrelated to AtlasCraft

3.9 - Advertising - Mentioning Server Names
Advertising other servers on AC or advertising AC on other City RP servers if we do not have good relations with them.
1st Offense: Warn
2nd Offense: Temp Ban 2 Days

4th Offense: Perm Ban
3.10 - Secretly Recording Voice Channels
Players cannot record a voice channel without all parties consent unless in Streaming VC.

3.11 - Advertising - Discord Servers
Only AtlasCraft related discord servers can be advertised within the server and in game. This also will pertain to DM's (unless consented to by both parties)
1st Offense - Warning and Link being deleted
2nd Offense - 3 day time out and Link Deleted
3rd Offense - Temp Ban 30 Days
4th Offense - Perm ban
Griefing
4.1 - Vandalism or Griefing with Malevolent intent
Attacking Server/Nation infrastructure in a way that does not promote general roleplay.

4.2 - Arson
Non-permitted and unwanted destruction by fire within protected regions
1st Offense: 1 Day Temp Ban
2nd Offense: 7 Day Temp Ban
3rd Offense: Perm Ban
4.3 Stealing
Stealing from other players is strictly prohibited. This includes, but is not limited to:
- Taking items from unlocked or locked chests, furnaces, barrels, shulker boxes, or any other storage.
- Looting items from player bases, camps, or claimed/unclaimed areas without permission.
- Taking drops from another player’s death without consent (unless in a PvP zone where looting is explicitly allowed).
Important:
The status of a chest being "unlocked" does not make it fair game. Respect others' property at all times.
Violations may result in warnings, item returns, temporary bans, or permanent bans, depending on severity and repeat offenses.
Miscellaneous Rules
5.1 - Alternative Accounts
Only one account per person is permitted.
The server only supports playing from your own account.
Everyone is responsible for their own account.
1st Offense: Warning + Ban of Alternative Account
2nd Offense: Ban of primary + alternative account
5.1.A Hacked Account
While everyone is responsible for their own account, if your account was hacked and it can be proven then rule 5.1 will not apply to you. However, it must be proven that your account was hacked.
5.2 - Exploitation of Bugs
Use of and derive benefit from a server bug. This rule does not apply if you volunteer the information on the bug and do not abuse it.
1st Offense: Warning
2nd Offense: 7 Day Temp Ban
5.3 - Fully Automatic Farms
Use of a means of resource gathering that does not require an aspect of player interaction. Egg farms excluded.
1st Offense: Dismantling of automatic farm + Warning
2nd Offense: Dismantling of automatic farm + 3 Day Temp Ban
3rd Offense: Dismantling of automatic farm + 7 Day Temp Ban
5.4 - AFK-Kick Avoiding
Utilizing a method of avoiding away-from-keyboard timeout.
1st Offense: $500 dollar fine + warning
2nd Offense: $1000 dollar fine + 1 hour ban.
3rd Offense: $1500 dollar fine + 8 hour ban.
5.5 - Ticket Abuse
Unnecessary and intentional frivolous use of the ticket system.
1st Offense: Warning
2nd Offense: Kick
3rd Offense: 30 Minute Temp Ban.
5.6 - Killing Staff on a ticket
Killing a staff member while visibly performing their duties.
Per Offense: 30 minute unappealable jail time enforced by staff.
5.7 - Public Indecency
Nudity (skins or language/actions), sexual acts, and any way to make a minor uncomfortable on our server.
1st Offense: Warning
2nd Offense: 1 Week Temp Ban
3rd Offense: Perm Ban
5.8 - Redstone Clocks
Any player caught with an automatic looping Redstone contraption.
1st Offense: Warning
2nd Offense: 1 Week Temp Ban
3rd Offense: Perm Ban
5.9 - Server Espionage
Any player caught trying to gain unlawful access to restricted files, plugins, etc or attempting to get another player to do so shall be subject to staff actions.

Rules can be changed at any time for any reason by the AC Staff Team, an update will be posted in #change-log but it is up to you to keep up with these rules and their updates.
