Establish the Housing Assistance Freedom Act

Representative Ryan_88 and Senators Poemhunter in agreeance with this bills contents, hereby recommend this bill to the House for their consideration

Section 1 - Short Title:
This bill may be cited as the “ Housing Assistance Freedom Act of 2025 “
Section 2 - Commencement:
(1) This bill will remove the Housing Assistance Act of 2025 and the Residency Act II of 2025
Section 3 - Housing Assistance:
(1) Landlords are owners of residential properties, residences being defined under the Residency MK II Act.
(2) Listed properties rentable for 1 week periods, may be posted at application of the landlord to the correct Government Body with delegated authority for citizens to seek Housing Assistance.
(3) Potential Tenants/Tenants can apply to the Government body responsible for Housing Assistance claims.
(4) The relevant Government Authority will provide 1 week worth of rent to the individual seeking housing under the status of Homeless Seeking Housing (HSH)
(5) The Government will provide 1 week payment of rent to an HSH Applicant to the Lowest available housing on the Housing Assistant properties list.
(6) The Relevant Government Authority will inspect all properties seeking to be published on the Assistance Housing List and must ensure it is tenable to a minimal standard of living.
(7) Housing Assistance can only be claimed once every 2 months, and only by individuals who have, or who by paying rent would leave them with, less than $1,000 - across all balances.
Section 4 - Residence Establishment:
(1) In order for a space to be considered a residence it must exist in a regioned zone.
(2) Players are allowed to be cohabitants. Properties not considered apartment blocks, mansions or Skycrapper condos or hotels will have a limit of up to 5 player cohabitants.
(3) A residence should be a self enclosed space with walls, a floor, and a ceiling.
Section 5 - Residence Construction Grants:
(1) In the event that no residences are available, The Government may put out a tender for grant for private construction companies or businesses.
(2) The construction company or businesses must build affordable residences for the least amount of money. The Government will provide all funds for building costs.
(3) The construction company will acquire the profits of rent. Rent may not be raised for 5 months and will be set within the tender for grant application.
(4) The Congress may at anytime establish a subcommittee to oversee the details of this program.
By submitting this bill to the House of Representatives, I hereby swear it is in good faith and in the best interest of the nation, the people I serve and my oath of office.
